Bouldering at The Pound at Rumney
After a rainy fall, we were finally confronted with a nice weekend day with mild temps. Even better, I didn’t have much work to do for the weekend. So, off to Rumney it was – this time for some bouldering.
The players were me and two friends, Chris and James.

Chris on Cranium, V0.

James on Cranium.

Chris on The Pound Crack, V2.

James on Smoke and Mirrors, V6.

Myself sending smoke and mirrors.

Chris on Whale’s Tail, V4 (?).

Chris messing around on some fun dyno.

James working his way along some thin crack.

It was nice to finally get out again to Rumney, and the conditions were prime for sending, as evidenced by the fact that I was able to send my second V6 ever (the first one being The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, in the Castle Hill Basin, NZ), Smoke and Mirrors.
